My Amazing Experience Traveling To Florida From West Virginia
On Sunday morning at eleven thirty, we began the road trip to Florida. When I first woke up, I thought that it would be the worst car ride of my life, but it actually wasn’t all that bad. My favorite part of the car ride was seeing each state sign because that meant we were getting closer and closer to our destination. The part of the car ride that felt the longest was once we crossed over into Florida. The only two states I managed to stay awake in were Virginia and Georgia. We only stopped a few times to get gas, eat dinner, and stretch our legs. You would think being in the car for fifteen hours with a one-year-old would be absolutely terrible, but the only time she really yelled was when she was really tired and didn’t want to sleep. For most of the car ride, I listened to music, but when my phone was charging, I was either watching Harry Potter or sleeping. My least favorite part was getting out of the car; I mean, I thought that would be my favorite part, but I was so tired because it was five o’clock in the morning, and I could barely feel my legs. All I wanted to do was go inside and sleep, so that was exactly what I did. When I woke up, I was still tired, but overall, I was happy I came instead of staying home because now I can spend time with my parents and grandparents in a nice warm place where I’m not constantly shivering.
