My AMAZING Family! The number one reason I work hard.

So in my last post I mentioned that my family was my biggest reason to strive to be the best. In this post I am going to focus directly on them. To start with you have to go back to May of 2007 when my first child was born and made me a father. I was 21 years old when she was born and nowhere near ready to be a dad. But she didn’t ask me if I was ready nor did she care she just needed me to be one. I remember the moment she was born I remember looking at her and thinking she was perfect. Now when she was born I was still at the Police Department and the day after her birth I had to go testify in court. Those of you that know me personally know that I am deaf in one ear so I was super stressed about her hearing test and hoping she had passed it. When I got back to the hospital from court I learned that she passed her hearing test. I spent the next few years changing diapers and laying on her bed until she fell asleep. Then in November of 2009 my second daughter was born but by that time I was divorced and missed many of the same experiences that I had with her older sister. May 10, 2014 I got married to my wonderful wife Jennifer. She is an outstanding wife, cook, partner, and even better she is a rockstar Stepmom. March 2019 my third and final daughter entered this world. Now she was born when I was 33 and I have news for you. They have not improved on those pull out couches you sleep on at the hospital. When I was 21 sleeping on them was no big deal. At 33 it was a nightmare to say the least. Not to mention just like Tori (my oldest daughter) Kara (the baby) liked to drop horrible awful stinky atomic bomb like diapers in the middle of the night. Obviously I am not going to have my wife deal with those things after just giving birth so I changed them and made the same request of Kara that I made of Tori when she was a baby. Could you maybe do this in the middle of the day so I can have a little light and actually see what I am doing? Neither one of them obliged my request but its ok. Now Tori wants to one day be to this company what I am. She wants to own it and run it. She has already gone on some jobs with me and she is outstanding at cleaning white vinyl fence but she is still too nervous to clean a house. Taylor ( my middle daughter) wants at this point to build robots when she gets older. For that she will need a lot of school. Kara at the moment just wants to play and eat especially my food. We can all have exactly the same thing to eat at any given moment of the day and she already having eaten her dinner comes over and plops right down on my lap and eats my dinner as well. Its ok I don’t mind most of the time cause she is daddy’s girl. But I don’t really care for it when she tries to stick her little fingers in my food. Now why am I telling you all this? Well I love my family they are amazing and not only do I want to be the best for them because they deserve my best, but I want to leave them the best. Lets face it no one lives forever and I want to know when it is my time that my girls and my wife will be ok and not have to worry about finances. Now I am not one of those parents who just hands them everything. If they want it earn it. But to a certain extent I owe it to them to make sure they have a fighting chance when they hit the real world. One day they will all own a piece of this company and when they do they should have the right to decide to keep it or sell it. But regardless of what they do with it I want to make sure that it is profitable enough that they are able to live comfortably and build their own legacy. Thank you to those of you who stuck it out and read this entire post. For that I give you our pre COVID Christmas Picture from December 2019 below.
